Marin's career began when he started freelancing as a producer of fashion
shows for numerous designers for "Seventh on Six Shows" and private trunk
shows at showrooms. From there, Marin made the transition to becoming a
fashion stylist and then a fashion editor for men's magazine Empire. He is
currently the fashion director for Instinct Magazine.
In addition to his work as a stylist on the second cycle of AMERICA'S NEXT
TOP MODEL, Marin has been a personal celebrity stylist for high profile
events such as the Oscars, the VH1 Fashion Awards, Cannes Film Festival and
the Grammy Awards, and worked on various fashion shows for New York Fashion
Week.
Marin worked on advertising campaigns for L'Oreal, Pepsi, Disney, Colgate,
Avon, Virgin Records, Sony Music, Showtime and Lady Foot Locker, among
others. Marin also lent his expertise to various editorial features,
including Esquire, Allure, Greek Vogue, Australian Vogue, Cosmopolitan,
Men's Health, Hamptons Magazine, Time Out, Paper and Marie Claire.
His list of celebrity clientele includes Claudia Schiffer, Tommy Hilfiger,
Tyra Banks, Iman, Hugh Jackman, Emily Watson, David Copperfield, Talisa
Soto, Maxwell and Smokey Robinson. In addition, he has worked with notable
photographers, such as Danella Federrici, Richard Phibbs, Greg Gorman,
Calliope, Markus Klinko, Mick Rock, Andre Rapf and fellow judge on AMERICA'S
NEXT TOP MODEL Nigel Barker.
Born in New York City, Marin was raised on the Upper East Side and attended
the High School of Fashion Industry. He currently resides in New York City
